Odaka − Persimmon orange

Inspired by Odaka, a district in Minamisoma City, Fukushima—home to Fukushima Watch Company—the “Odaka” model is a classic small-seconds automatic timepiece.
 With three new colors added to the existing five, the series now features a full lineup of eight color variations.
 Each model adopts color themes inspired by agricultural products rooted in the culture and landscape of Minamisoma, expressed through the dial and strap.

Among them, Persimmon Orange is inspired by the rich seasonal scenery of Odaka, where the tradition of growing and enjoying persimmons remains deeply rooted in everyday life.
In the gardens of many homes throughout Odaka, persimmon trees have been carefully tended and cherished for generations.
In autumn, the branches fill with vibrant fruit, and as winter arrives, dried persimmons and persimmon rice cakes become familiar sights at the table —
a tradition that has long shaped a community culture of sharing the blessings of the season.
